By copy of an email that you received on December 31, 2009, from Mr. Arthur Riegel, Hearing Officer in the matter of case #09-1 C/DBC and 09-2 C/DWC, you were made aware that the Communication Workers of America (CWA) withdrew their petitions to decertify AME.

Since Mr. Riegel declared this matter “officially closed,” and AME remains the Association recognized by the Suffolk County Public Employment Relations Board as the representative for the purposes of collective bargaining for the employees, I am requesting to resume Contract Negotiations for AME Bargaining Units 2 & 6 immediately.
